DC, I saw you just this past weekend, and enjoyed your outdoor performance on Saturday. For me a good lindy hop song gives me energy while on the floor. The most irritating thing at any dance is to dance Lindy Hop to a song that just doesn't lend itself to the steps, especially if it is distinctly a different dance (such as people i've seen dancing Lindy to a Cha Cha). My personal favorite Lindy song is Janis Siegel's version of Bei Mir Bist Du Scheon. The accelerando and then fast paced ending to the song is some of the best Lindy i've ever danced.
