Woah I didn't saw that coming from the people that runs the cat's corner :p I knew a lot of people that goes to the dances at cat's corner were in IT, but I never tough about that... I am currently learning ruby on rails and I love it it's a great technology! However I already have a stable job in IT. Are you looking for freelancing work? By the way the book Glen recommend is the best on this technology! I got the 2nd version and it's great! You are all working on a ruby on rails website?
